We have been upcycling our hand spun cotton sarongs, dyed with natural indigo. These fabrics are of exceptional quality, our early clothing collections were made exclusively from these cottons, spun in the North of Thailand for almost two decades. Sadly the family who were rice farmers and would grow and spin cotton in between the rice season no longer make these fabrics. These fabrics now fetch high prices due to the skill and rarity of its production.
We have made these cushion covers from these lovely indigo fabrics, with appliquéd, embroidered Indian sari borders, edged in crocheted & metallic piping backed with African fabrics!
